^30 (A)Then Moses said to the sons of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. ³¹ And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all ^[a]craftsmanship; ³² to create ^[b]designs for working in gold, in silver, and in ^[c]bronze, ³³ and in the cutting of stones for settings and in the carving of wood, so as to perform in every inventive work. ³⁴ He also has put in his heart to teach, both he and ^(B)Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. ^35 (C)He has filled them with ^[d]skill to perform every work of an engraver, of a designer, and of an embroiderer, in violet, purple, and in scarlet material, and in fine linen, and of a weaver, as performers of every work and makers of designs.

The Tabernacle Underwritten

36 “Now Bezalel, Oholiab, and every ^[e]skillful person in whom the Lord has put ^[f]skill and understanding to know how to perform all the work ^[g]in the construction of the sanctuary, shall perform in accordance with everything that the Lord has commanded.”

² Then Moses called Bezalel, Oholiab, and every ^[h]skillful person in ^[i]whom the Lord had put ^[j]skill, ^(D)everyone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to perform it. ³ They received from Moses every ^[k]contribution which the sons of Israel had brought to perform ^[l]the work ^[m]in the construction of the sanctuary. And they still continued bringing to him ^[n]voluntary offerings every morning. ⁴ And all the ^[o]skillful people who were performing all the work of the sanctuary came, each from ^[p]the work which they were performing, ⁵ and they said to ^[q]Moses, “^(E)The people are bringing much more than enough for the ^[r]construction work which the Lord commanded us to ^[s]perform.” ⁶ So Moses issued a command, and circulated a ^[t]proclamation throughout the camp, saying, “No man or woman is to perform work any longer for the ^[u]contributions of the sanctuary.” So the people were restrained from bringing any more. ^7 (F)For the ^[v]material they had was sufficient and more than enough for all the work, to perform it.

¹² “^(A)And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to ^[a]fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and ^(B)love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with ^(C)all your heart and with all your soul, ¹³ and to keep the Lord’s commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today for your good? ¹⁴ Behold, ^(D)to the Lord your God belong heaven and the ^[b]highest heavens, ^(E)the earth and all that is in it. ^15 (F)Yet the Lord set His affection on your fathers, to love them, and He chose their ^[c]descendants after them, you over all the other peoples, as it is this day. ^16 (G)So circumcise ^[d]your heart, and do not ^(H)stiffen your neck any longer. ^17 (I)For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the ^(J)Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, ^(K)who does not show partiality, nor ^(L)take a bribe. ¹⁸ He executes justice for ^(M)the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the stranger by giving him food and clothing. ^19 (N)So show your love for the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt. ²⁰ You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him, and ^(O)cling to Him, and ^(P)you shall swear by His name. ²¹ He is ^(Q)your glory and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen. ^22 (R)Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all, ^(S)and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.

Rewards of Obedience

11 “You shall therefore ^(T)love the Lord your God, and always ^(U)keep His directive, His statutes, His ordinances, and His commandments.

The Rich Man and Lazarus

¹⁹ “Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, enjoying himself in splendor every day. ²⁰ And a poor man named Lazarus ^(A)was laid at his gate, covered with sores, ²¹ and longing to be fed from the scraps which fell from the rich man’s table; not only that, the dogs also were coming and licking his sores. ²² Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to ^[a](B)Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried. ²³ And in ^(C)Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his ^[b]arms. ²⁴ And he cried out and said, ‘^(D)Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in ^(E)this flame.’ ²⁵ But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that ^(F)during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony. ²⁶ And ^[c]besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set, so that those who want to go over from here to you will not be able, nor will any people cross over from there to us.’ ²⁷ And he said, ‘Then I request of you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— ²⁸ for I have five brothers—in order that he may ^(G)warn them, so that they will not come to this place of torment as well.’ ²⁹ But Abraham *said, ‘They have ^[d](H)Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ ³⁰ But he said, ‘No, ^(I)father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ ³¹ But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

The River and the Tree of Life

22 And ^(A)he showed me a ^(B)river of the ^(C)water of life, ^[a]clear ^(D)as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of ^[b]the Lamb, ² in the middle of ^(E)its street. ^(F)On either side of the river was ^(G)the tree of life, bearing twelve ^[c]kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. ^3 (H)There will no longer be any curse; and ^(I)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will ^(J)serve Him; ⁴ they will ^(K)see His face, and His ^(L)name will be on their ^(M)foreheads. ⁵ And ^(N)there will no longer be any night; and they ^[d]will not have need ^(O)of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them; and they will ^(P)reign forever and ever.

⁶ And ^(Q)he said to me, “^(R)These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the ^(S)God of the spirits of the prophets, ^(T)sent His angel to show His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

⁷ “And behold, ^(U)I am coming quickly. ^(V)Blessed is the one who ^[e]keeps ^(W)the words of the prophecy of this book.”

^8 (X)I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, ^(Y)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things. ⁹ And ^(Z)he *said to me, “^[f]Do not do that; I am a ^(AA)fellow servant of yours and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who ^[g]keep the words of ^(AB)this book. Worship God!”

The Final Message

¹⁰ And he *said to me, “^(AC)Do not seal up ^(AD)the words of the prophecy of this book, ^(AE)for the time is near. ^11 (AF)Let the one who does wrong still do wrong, and the one who is filthy still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous still practice righteousness, and the one who is holy still keep himself holy.”

¹² “Behold, ^(AG)I am coming quickly, and My ^(AH)reward is with Me, ^(AI)to reward each one as his work ^[h]deserves. ¹³ I am the ^(AJ)Alpha and the Omega, ^(AK)the first and the last, ^(AL)the beginning and the end.”

¹⁴ Blessed are those who ^(AM)wash their robes, so that they will have the right to ^(AN)the tree of life, and may ^(AO)enter the city by the ^(AP)gates. ^15 (AQ)Outside are the ^(AR)dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

¹⁶ “^(AS)I, Jesus, have sent ^(AT)My angel to testify to you of these things ^[i](AU)for the churches. I am ^(AV)the root and the ^(AW)descendant of David, the bright ^(AX)morning star.”

¹⁷ The ^(AY)Spirit and the ^(AZ)bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And ^(BA)let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the ^(BB)water of life without cost.

¹⁸ I testify to everyone who hears ^(BC)the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone ^(BD)adds to them, God will add to him ^(BE)the plagues that are written in ^(BF)this book; ¹⁹ and if anyone ^(BG)takes away from the ^(BH)words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from ^(BI)the tree of life and ^[j]from the holy city, ^(BJ)which are written in this book.

²⁰ He who ^(BK)testifies to these things says, “Yes, ^(BL)I am coming quickly.” Amen. ^(BM)Come, Lord Jesus.
